Mr Ibrahim Alio

Group Managing Director

Mr. Ibrahim Alio is an all rounded Executive Professional with vast knowledge and experience in the energy sector, Logistics and procurement, Human capital management, finance, general sales as well as marketing. Holds Master Degree in MSC Supply Logistic and Procurement Management and bachelor degree in Agribusiness management from Egerton University covering Accounting, Human resource and Marketing Management, Diploma in supplies and procurement Management, Certified Public Accountant

 (CPAII), a certificate in Petroleum Stocks Management, LPG Operations and Management, Petroleum Occupational Health and Safety Management, Strategic planning and management of projects , Community resource mobilization and management, Participatory assessment, monitoring and evaluation of projects, Statistical Packages for Social Sciences and several other IT certificates. He has attended several trainings on logistics and procurement management, Monitoring and evaluations, marketing management, Research, Accounting and human resource courses.

As an MD, Alio is responsible for ensuring that the company attains its Commercial, Operational, Financial and strategic goals. His role covers the companies under the Trojan group including Tropical Energy Dealers Limited in regional countries of Rwanda, Burundi, DRC and South Sudan, Sahara clearing and Forwarding and Trojan transport and logistics services. As the Team Leader of the group’s Management team, he collaborates, reports to and liaise with the Company’s’ Board of Directors.

Before joining Trojan in April 2011, he worked with several NGOs including Save the Children UK and Care International Kenya serving in different capacities including Logistics and Procurement, Finance and Administration, Monitoring and Evaluation, Community Mobilizer and Empowerment Programme Manager. In addition to this, he has worked In short contracts with several Government institutions including NHIF, KEBS and Electoral Commission gaining vast insights in their various operations.

He has participated in several community projects and has been Active Member in Business and Livestock development in Northern Kenya through Pastoralists Action for Change (PAC) Kenya for which he served as Secretary General for two years. He is a member Kenya Institute of Supplies management (KISM), served as a member of school committee for East Africa School of Petroleum Studies for two years. He also served as a board member of Petroleum Institute of East Africa, was an integral member in East Africa regional workshop on low sulphur fuels and currently serving as the vice chair of Petroleum Industry Association of Kenya (PIAK).

AHMED ISLAM

Finance Manager

Mr. Islam is a graduate in Economics from The University of Nairobi,

with professional qualifications of CPA (K) - Certified Public Accountant

of Kenya, ACCA - Association of Chartered Certified Accountant of UK

and is currently pursuing a Bsc (applied accounting) Degree from

Oxford Brookes University.Prior to joining Trojan, Islam worked with

Crown Petroleum Ltd, an Oil Marketing Company in Kenya as an

Accountant, Nile Energy (U) Ltd, one of the leading market share

 

holders in the Oil industry in Uganda as an Assistant Financial Controller, before joining Trojan International Ltd in June 2013 as Finance Manager.

IBRAHIM ADAN EDIN

Sales and Marketing Manager

Mr.Adan Holds Master degree in business Administration (Strategic Management) from Mt.kenya University and bachelor degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) from Kenya Methodist University (KEMU).He is also commensurate professional who is Certified public accountant of Kenya (CPAK) and Certified Public Secretaries(CPS) Part 111. In addition to this he obtained various short courses certificates in Marketing strategy, Strategic planning and management of project and Financial Management.

Prior to joining Trojan in November 2013, He worked with Ministry of Finance (GOK) as an accountant and worked with several international NGOs including African Development Solutions, Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (Supkem) where he served in different capacity as Senior Finance Officer, program Accountant and Finance & Administration Coordinator managing finance/grants of different donors including USAID, UNICEF, UNDP, WFP, FAO, and SDC among others. During his tenure at various NGO he has attended several trainings in financial/Grant management, Administrative, procurement, Mastering Managements, Strategic management and compliance training, where he obtained necessary skills in enforcing internal controls and Compliance within the organization operation functions.

CYRUS MUTUKU

Financial Controller

He is a consummate professional who holds a Bachelor of Commerce

degree from The University of Nairobi and a Certified Public Accountant (K).

 He is Finance and Accounting Expert and a professional demeanor gained

through extensive experience in working with Local and International

Organizations alike.

Mr. Mutuku has previously worked for Kenya Tea Development Authority,

the biggest producer of tea leaf in Kenya as an Accounts clerk, Siemens Ltd,

a global powerhouse in electronics and electrical engineering as an Accounts Assistant, Gapco Kenya Ltd, a Multinational Petroleum company as a Management Accountant, before joining Trojan International Ltd in

 November 2009 as Chief Accountant and later rising up to the Position of Group Financial Controller which he continues to hold since October 2012.

LYDIA MUTHEU

Supply and Operations  Manager

Miss. Lydia Mutheu is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Procurement and Supply Chain Management option) from the University of Nairobi.  She has a diploma in Petroleum Management from School of Petroleum Studies in collaboration with the Petroleum Institute of East Africa (PIEA). She has also attended an Awareness campaign on  Low Sulphur Diesel and World Liquefied Petroleum Gas  workshop held by PIEA among others.

Prior to joining Trojan in July 2012 as the supply and Operation Assistant , she was on Internship at the Nairobi Joint Depot (NJD) and later rose through the ranks to be the Group’s  Supply and Operations  Manager in July 2014.
